Junior Account Executive Scheme 2021
Our 2021 Junior Account Executive Scheme has been a great success so far, with multiple placements already confirmed across our PR and social media teams. Due to the incredible work delivered by our amazing staff over the last few months, we are pleased to announce we have added four additional JAE openings with opportunities across our marketing services, PR and public affairs practices!
This is a fantastic opportunity for ambitious, dedicated entry level candidates to kick start their exciting career in communications. Currently we have openings in the following teams:
- Marketing Services: This is an opportunity to work on through-the-line, international campaigns for top brands, including digital display, social, paid social, web builds, OOH – as well as below the line print channels.
- PR: From day one you will be assigned to a portfolio of clients where you will gain hands-on experience and regular training from some of the best communications professionals in the industry.
- Public Affairs: Live and breathe politics? Our specialist PA team help businesses forge strategic relationships, advise on policy change and campaign on high profile issues to maximise the impact of their clients’ communications across multiple sectors.
As a JAE you will have the opportunity to join us for a full six-months starting in July 2021. We’re looking for the best, most creative, forward-thinking candidates out there. Our doors are open to all backgrounds and experience. We’re not judging you on whether you have a degree or not: we’re simply concentrating on you and your talent.
Brands2Life is ‘the agency for the brands transforming our world’: a multi-award-winning, digitally-led, independent agency majority owned by an employee trust and led by its Co-Founders Giles Fraser and Sarah Scales. Today we have over 150 staff in London, New York and San Francisco. Defined by Provoke Media as ‘one of the decade’s defining UK agencies’ we were voted Large Agency of the Year 2020 by both PRWeek and the PRCA National Awards. Winning PRWeek’s “Best Places to Work 2019,” our JAE scheme was also awarded PRWeek’s ‘Best Internship Scheme’ in both 2020 and 2021.
The Brands2Life Junior Account Executive Scheme offers a full-time PAID placement within one of our brilliant teams where from day one you will be assigned to a portfolio of clients and will gain hands-on experience including regular training from some of the best communications and digital professionals in the industry. At the end of the six months you will be promoted to Account Executive in a permanent role (subject to a successful probation). Almost a quarter of the team at Brands2Life started their careers here and two of them are now on the board!
Like most agencies we’ve ensured our Southwark office conforms to socially-distanced guidelines, so when restrictions lift, you’ll get the chance to come in and work alongside your colleagues. We’ve also extended our WFH policy to allow people to do so as much as they wish for the foreseeable future and will allow our teams to WFH up to three days a week when business life returns to normal.
This placement will suit individuals with a specific desire to work within the communications industry. We are looking for enthusiasm, drive and creativity as well as a basic understanding of what communications is; who Brands2Life are; and the work we do. You do not need to have experience in communications already, but you will need to convince us you will make the most of this opportunity.
Please note you must be available to start between July and September 2021.
To apply to the scheme please email your CV and covering letter highlighting which area of the business you are most interested in to firstname.lastname@example.org. If successful, you will be contacted and invited to take part in a first stage phone interview. Due to the high volume of applications we receive, we are unfortunately unable to get back to each individual but as always will try our best.
We wish you the best of luck!
