PRWeek crowns Brands2Life as Best Place to Work

Brands2Life has come away with two award wins at the PRWeek Best Places to Work 2020 awards, taking home the top prizes for Best Rewards & Benefits and Best Internship Scheme. The award programme is the definitive barometer on the leading employers in the UK PR industry. Brands2Life also received a Highly Commended award for Diversity & Inclusion.

Made up of industry peers, the PRWeek judges commended our “holistic approach to rewards and benefits” as a core reason for claiming the Best Rewards & Benefits category. Judges highlighted our sustainable travel benefit which helps staff undertake alternative travel; the Brands2Life LIFE Loans scheme, an interest-free loan to help manage costs of living in London, and our paid sabbatical offer.

Of our Junior Account Executive Scheme, PRWeek commented on the “comprehensive nature of Brands2Life’s internship programme” as a key reason for taking the top spot for Best Internship. The judges also praised our JAE scheme as a means to bring in new talent with 25 per cent of staff starting their career at Brands2Life as JAEs – with two now on the board.

The judges also recognised Brands2Life’s “grass roots approach to hire a diverse workforce”, including our ongoing work with local school, the Ark Globe Academy providing enrichment days to its students, as well as extensive internal training of agency staff on unconscious bias.

Sarah Scales, Co-Founder said of the award wins, “We’re absolutely thrilled to be included in PRWeek’s Best Places to Work awards. Since we started Brands2Life twenty years ago, we have been focused on providing fulfilling careers for our people, nurturing talent and creating an employee experience that makes Brands2Life such a special place to work. We’re particularly proud to be recognised for our work around diversity and inclusion. We’ve made a lot of progress, but we are committed to doing more.”

Brands2Life also won Large Agency of the Year and Organisational Health at the PRWeek’s Best Places to Work awards last year.
